General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) Statement

Everyone who has registered with MDSA24 has provided personal information when completing the membership application form as part of the process of becoming a member and has granted MDSA24 permission to use these details for membership matters.

Where your details are digitally stored they are stored securely and password protected, no one can access it without permission. Where your details are stored in a paper format, these details are stored in a locked cabinet, secured by key, this key is only available to and used by MDSA24 Committee members.

We will use this data to contact you in respect of your membership of MDSA24.

We will from time to time contact you with information from MDSA24 or third parties which we feel would be on interest to you.

We do not share your information with any third party without your agreement unless we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal or regulatory obligation.

You can request to unsubscribe and opt out of emails at any time.  Where you opt out of all communications or exercise your right to erasure, we will continue to maintain a core set of personal data (e.g. name, membership status).

We will retain your data throughout your MDSA24 Membership and for 12 months only following your cessation of membership or until you request us to do otherwise.

When changes are made to this statement, we will publish the updated version to our website and  social media and notify you by other communication channels as we deem appropriate or necessary.

You retain the right at all times to lodge a complaint about our management of your personal data with the Information Commissioner’s Office at https://ico.org.uk/concerns/
